If you sign on for ongoing support afterward, your audit fee is credited toward your first month.

No retainer, no commitment — just call when you need me. One question, one problem employee, one policy you're not sure about. Billed in 30-minute increments.

Remote Support
Full HR support, wherever you are. Calls, documentation, policy work, hiring and termination guidance, and ongoing HR advisory — all delivered virtually.

Starter — 6 hrs/month
Core — 15 hrs/month
Partner — 25 hrs/month

On-Site Support
For the moments that need a person in the room. No retainer required — book On-Site for a single situation, like an investigation, a sensitive termination, or team training.

Hybrid Support
Remote for the everyday. On-site when it counts. Our most popular option for ongoing clients who want both.

Hybrid Core — Core retainer + 1 on-site day/quarter
Hybrid Partner — Partner retainer + 1 on-site day/month

Travel: Free within 100 miles of Wheatland, WY. Beyond that, mileage is billed at the current IRS standard rate.

Founder & Principal Consultant

Kevin spent 11+ years in the U.S. Air Force, including combat deployments that taught him how to lead in ambiguous, stressful, and austere environments — the kind of pressure that doesn't leave room for guesswork. He spent the back half of his military career as a Formal Training Instructor, developing and training the next generation of leaders.

After transitioning out of the military, Kevin earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Leadership and a Master's in Human Resource Management, building the formal foundation to match what he'd already learned in the field and in the classroom as a trainee and a lead instructor.

He went on to provide HR solutions under a private family office, supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses spanning ranching and agricultural operations, healthcare, construction, startups, and small-to-medium businesses (SMB). Additionally, he served on his local school board, economic development board, and Wyoming Chamber of Commerce board.

That combination — military leadership under pressure, formal HR expertise, and hands-on experience across wildly different industries — is what led Kevin to found ShipShape HR, LLC, a consulting firm for remote and hybrid fractional HR services built specifically for startups, small-to-medium businesses, and family-owned operations across the U.S.
